What we are working on
Our Priorities
The Administration is focused on a clear set of priorities: an economy that serves every family, a secure nation at home and abroad, a healthy planet for the next generation, and a government that earns the trust of the people it serves.
Housing & Communities
Every family deserves a stable, affordable home. The Administration is directing federal agencies to streamline permitting for new construction, launch first-time homebuyer assistance, and protect renters from unfair practices. Over the next decade, this framework aims to add more than two million new homes near jobs and transit.
We are also investing in the communities where homes are built — from main street revitalization to broadband infrastructure to the public schools that anchor every neighborhood.
Climate & Clean Energy
The transition to clean, reliable, domestically produced energy is the single largest economic opportunity of our time. The Administration is accelerating investment in grid modernization, renewable generation, advanced nuclear, and the skilled workforce that will build all of it.
We are also strengthening resilience against climate impacts already underway — from flood protection and wildfire response to agricultural adaptation in every region of the country.
National Security
Protecting the nation, its people, and its democratic institutions is the first duty of any Administration. We are strengthening alliances, modernizing the armed forces, and investing in the cybersecurity of the critical systems that Americans depend on every day.
At home, we are making unprecedented investments in community safety, law enforcement training, and the prevention of targeted violence.
Economy & Jobs
An economy works when it works for everyone. The Administration is focused on raising wages, lowering everyday costs, and expanding access to skilled training for the jobs of the next two decades. We are investing in the infrastructure, research, and manufacturing capacity that will keep the United States competitive for generations.
Health & Care
A healthy nation is a prosperous nation. The Administration is lowering prescription drug costs, expanding coverage for working families, and investing in the public health workforce. We are also confronting the caregiving crisis — supporting families caring for children, elders, and loved ones with disabilities.
Education & Opportunity
From early childhood through career training, the Administration is committed to an education system that prepares every student for a future of meaningful work and engaged citizenship. We are investing in public schools, expanding access to community college, and modernizing federal student aid.
